Dr. Mehdi Bajoghli is a board-certified Allergist and Immunologist with decades of experience. Dr. Mehdi Bajoghli brings our patients his wealth of knowledge and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic rhinitis (hay fever), asthma, urticaria (hives), eczema, and allergies to food, medication (penicillin testing, etc.), insects (bees), and metals.
Dr. Bajoghli completed his training as a rotating intern at Quincy Hospital in Massachusetts followed by a Pediatrics residency at Buffalo Children’s Hospital. He then completed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Detroit Receiving Hospital. He further completed a second fellowship in adult and pediatric Allergy and Immunology at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Currently, Dr. Bajoghli is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Georgetown University School of Medicine and has been honored previously as Teacher of the Year. Dr. Bajoghli’s expertise has led him to publish numerous articles investigating allergic reactions and most recently, his memoir, currently available on Amazon.
Dr. Mehdi Bajoghli has previously worked in Woodbridge and Reston, and will now be accepting new patients in our Mclean office. Outside of his work, Dr. Mehdi Bajoghli enjoys spending time with his family and his three grandchildren. He’s also an avid reader, hiker, and swimmer.
